Wow, the Crescent Hotel is awesome. They have plenty of free parking. The history of the hotel is incredible, and quite lengthy. Briefly, it was built as a hotel, was a college for girls, spent time as a experimental cancer treatment hospital and is now a hotel. Oh yeah, it is haunted. It is a great place to stay. They have a very professional ghost tour of the hotel, the restaurant offers great service and wonderful food, the trolley stops right in front of the hotel, carriage rides are available at the front door... The room that I stayed in had been recently remodeled and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was featured on the ghost hunter show "TAPS" and they captured some amazing video. If you are looking for a hotel type visit, not in the middle of downtown, the Crescent Hotel is a great choice.

This is Carrol, he is a psychic and owns the Ghost Tour company at the Crescent. Tiana and I have been on the tour five times. Carol is by far my favorite of all the guides. Go on this tour with an open mind no matter what you believe. If your a sceptic, there are no "boo" stories. If you are a believer you may not experience a thing. Take the tour as a historical/learning experience, have a good time and see parts of the Cresent you would not normally see because it is off limits to the general public.

In November 2007 I stayed at the Crescent and was fortunate enough to stay in room 218, Michael's Room. One of the most haunted hotel rooms in America. I had a nice quiet evening and a good sleep.
